​This is the second half of a two part interview on the podcast where we talk with Joan Eisenstodt, a 2004inductee to the Convention Industry Council Hall of Leaders. 

We talk at length about the industry, the history of organizations like the CIC, mentorship, education and ways that past honorees can maybe be better involved in helping the next generation of people in our industry.

Joan Eisenstodt is one of the most prominent voices in themeetings industry for education, life long learning and innovation. In addition to her consulting she teaches classes on ethics, risk management, contracts, negotiations and overall meeting management.  She also personally has mentored numerous younger professionals as they entered the meeting and events industry.
